THE TEXAS RURAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

The Texas Rural Development Council is a concerted effort to coordinate the work of the many federal government agencies with the work of state and local economic development leaders and the private sector. TRDC and its members are dedicated to:

Members directly contribute to the accomplishment of these Council objectives through involvement in the goal and action-oriented plan-of-work committees. In addition, the TRDC holds quarterly meetings designed to educate and update members on the latest rural development opportunities and techniques.

The Council seeks to assist rural Texas communities with their needs and development efforts by matching the technical and financial resources of federal, state, and local governments and the private sector with local development efforts.
